Artist of the Month
Yvette Keong
Chinese-Australian soprano Yvette Keong is a dynamic performer who believes in using classical music to amplify important voices in today’s world. Praised as a “soaring soprano” of “clarity and promise,” she appears in opera, recital, and concert across the US and abroad.
Recent highlights include solo recitals with Carnegie Hall Citywide, Opera Maine, and performances at Ravinia Steans Music Institute. She has won top prizes in major vocal competitions and premiered roles in new operas with Beth Morrison Projects, Houston Grand Opera, and others.
Yvette is a graduate of The Juilliard School and the Manhattan School of Music, and has appeared with leading festivals and companies including Aspen Music Festival, Marlboro Music Festival, and Annapolis Opera. Outside of music, she loves ballet, painting for friends, sushi, and reading.
